Event Production + Live Experience

Event Production + Live Experience

CLIENT: Black Women’s Roundtable / National Coalition of Black Civic Participation, DC Board of Elections, DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Events DC
Industry: Experiential + Live Events – A Cross-Sector Portfolio

Insight

An event is not a production problem. It is a storytelling problem. The difference between an event people attend and one they remember is whether the experience was designed with the same intentionality as the content. Logistics get people in the room. Story keeps them there.

Challenge

Across arts, civic engagement, politics, social justice, and economic development, our clients needed more than technical execution. They needed a production partner who could hold the complexity of multi-day, multi-audience events, managing everything from behind-the-scenes capture to live streaming to in-person interviews, while keeping the human story at the center. Events ranged from 100 to 20,000 attendees across multiple days, each requiring a different approach to the same core challenge: make this feel real, not produced.

Approach

Zuri served as full-service production partner across all live event formats, managing complete A/V production, crew deployment, live streaming, Zoom integration for hybrid audiences, in-person interview production, and behind-the-scenes capture. Working in partnership with Bayne LLC for coordination and community outreach, we built production infrastructures that scaled to each event, from intimate cultural gatherings to large-scale multi-day civic experiences. Every event was treated as a live documentary: something worth capturing because the moment mattered.
